Councilman Lou Brossard serves as the Chairman of the Streets and Transportation Committee, as Vice Chair of the Recreation, Public Parks and Buildings Committee, and is a member of the Environmental Control Committee.
Councilman Lou Brossard and his wife Joni have resided in North Olmsted since 1994, and they are the proud parents of Nicholas, Devyn, and Brenna. Lou and his family are active members of St. Brendan Church and School.
Lou is a graduate of Olmsted Falls High School, and he attended Lorain County Community College. Lou is the Director of Sales at PEL Supply Company - a leading supplier to practitioners in the orthotic and prosthetic industry.
Prior to being appointed to Ward I Council in March of 2009, Lou served on North Olmsted's Charter Review Commission. He also served as president of the Sandy Ridge Homeowners' Association for several years. Lou has been active in the community, serving as a volunteer coach for North Olmsted Hot Stove baseball and softball teams as well as CYO basketball teams at St. Brendan and St. Richard.
