DESIGN GUIDELINES AND STREETSCAPE PLAN
The City is underway with efforts to create standardized Design Guidelines for commercial development. Design guidelines will set general criteria for quality development to be used by both developers and the City as development proposals are evaluated. Once adopted, these guidelines will apply to all new commercial development and redevelopment.
The Streetscape Plan is a related project that will include concepts for physical improvements to the City's major commercial corridors. Once implemented, the recommendations of the Streetscape Plan will help make North Olmsted a more attractive place to live and do business.
