The North Olmsted Recreation Center offers and Indoor and an Outdoor pool for both residents and non-residents.  Our Outdoor Pool is open from early June until early September.  Our Indoor Pool is open year round, and offers a high quality Learn to Swim Program.   



Learn to Swim
Our Learn to Swim Program starts with ages as young as 1 ½ years old.  The program follows the guidelines of the American Red Cross Swim Program.  The preschool program is for ages 1 ½ - 5 ½ years of age.  Ages 6 and up can register for our Level programs.  Children attending Kindergarten in the current school year can also register for the Level program.  

Water Exercise Classes

The North Olmsted Recreation Center offers a variety of Water Exercise Classes.  Stretch and Tone, Aqua Aerobics and Aqua Deep are offered to participants on a daily admission basis.  Classes are offered year round.

Open Swim, Lap Swim and Adult Open

Open Swim is open to the public of all ages. Non swimmers must be accompanied by a responsible adult.  Lap Swim is for participants ages 18 and over.  Straight laps only are permitted.  Space is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.  Adult Open is for ages 18 and over.  Some lanes available to lap swimmers and a portion of the pool are available for independent shallow or deep water exercise or water walking.    Pool schedules are available at the Recreation Center and online.
