Jackie Chavez-Anderson – Administrator Jackie Chavez-Anderson is a graduate from North Olmsted High School. She has earned a Mental Health Degree from The University of Toledo and a Social Work Degree from Cleveland State University. She has been with the North Olmsted Senior Center since 1999. Jackie coordinates the monthly newsletter and oversees all Senior Center Activities. She has also served on the North Olmsted Fair Housing Board, North Olmsted Community Development Block Grant Committee, the North Olmsted Schools Community Advisory Committee and the Fairview Hospital Community Advisory Committee.
Tiffany Hunt, LSW - Outreach CoordinatorTiffany Hunt, LSW is the Outreach Coordinator and Social Worker at the North Olmsted Senior Center since 2005. As the Outreach Coordinator, Tiffany coordinates the Meals on Wheels program, schedules informational speakers and health screenings, holds biennial health care and housing fairs, and maintains information on local senior living facilities. Tiffany also handles all aspects of social work at the senior center, offering assistance completing applications, understanding Medicare, and interpreting mail or other literature for the seniors. Tiffany also offers information and referral on a wide variety of topics. In 2006, Tiffany began offering Family Caregiver Support Programs through an Older Americans grant with the Western Reserve Area Agency on Aging. Tiffany serves on the Hospice of the Western Reserve Advisory Council and is the Recording Secretary for the Southwest Suburban Retired Senior Volunteer Program Advisory Council. In 2008, Tiffany was a recipient of the Carlos A. Maldonado, M.D. Award, honoring excellence in older adult services.
Beth Reitz, AAC – Activities CoordinatorBeth was hired as the Activities Coordinator in 2004. Beth is a certified Activities Coordinator through NCCAP – National Certification Council For Activity Professionals. Beth is a member of RAP- Resident Activity Personal in Ohio. In 2008 Beth became certified through the Cuyahoga Board of Health as a Coach Trainer for the "Matter of Balance Class" In November 2008 Beth was recognized for her service in excellence towards senior activity needs and received the Dr. Carlos Maldonado Award.
Lynda Hudson -Title IIIC Nutrition Program CoordinatorLynda has been the part time Title IIIC Nutrition Program Coordinator at the Senior Center since 2006. She oversees the Hot Lunch Program at the Senior Center. The Senior Center serves 80 people every Tuesday and Thursday afternoon for lunch. Lynda is responsible for the reservation lists, waiting lists, and cancellation lists. Lynda also recognizes and implements the policies and procedures regarding the Hot Lunch Program per the WRAAA recommendations. Lynda is also responsible for submitting the renewal of the Title IIIC Nutrition Grant Application.
