Leaf Humus Distribution

The fall leaves are composted and turned during the winter months, which creates a nutrient rich soil.  Residents may use this soil to mix into their gardens.  The humus becomes available April 1 every year and is available on a first come, first serve basis.  The Forestry Department dumps loads of it every Friday at the compost site across the street from the Barton/Bradley Soccer Fields.  It is not available for delivery.
