Update 12-14-2009
2009 Leaf Collection Program has been completed. Each ward was successfully completed three times this fall. Any remaining leaves should be bagged for garbage collection or composted.
Fall leaf collection is provided by a private contractor, 3-Z Company, (216) 524-4544. Collection schedules are mailed to all residences before the season begins. The 2009 Leaf Collection schedule can be found be clicking here. Progress updates are posted regularly on the City cable channels and this web page.
Guidelines for leaf collection are as follows:
- Leaves should be placed on your treelawn and ready on the FIRST DAY of the scheduled collection date.
- DO NOT mix leaves with grass clippings, garbage or tree limbs.
- DO NOT pile your leaves in the street, sidewalks, or roadside ditches.
- If you choose to bag your leaves, place the bags on the treelawn with your regular garbage collection on Wednesday.
