Inspired by not having healthy options when eating out, Jason Kocab, president, and his brother/business partner, Steve, came up with a way to share their Korean mother’s delicious home cooking style with a “make it your way” approach.

Walk up to the counter to pick a bowl, wrap or salad. The server then goes down the line as you choose your noodles or rice, meat (steak, pork or chicken), your sauces, your vegetables and toppings. Veggies include stir-fried bok choy, fresh kimchi, Asian slaw and shredded carrots and cucumbers. Sprinkle on some green onions, cilantro or jalapenos! The portions are very generous, often enough for more than one meal. The Asian flavor combinations are exciting, original, fresh and endless!

The owners of Mashiso take pride in using the freshest, most unprocessed ingredients they can find, making all of their sauces and marinades from scratch and prepping all veggies by hand. Meats are grilled as needed after marinating for 24 to 48 hours. Think ginger, cilantro, curry, sesame and garlic. Yum.

“Mashiso” is Korean for delicious. Mission accomplished.
