RITA Subpoena Program

All taxpayers that receive subpoenas were first issued a non-filing notice and were given an opportunity to respond before a subpoena was issued. Subpoena recipients are instructed to appear in North Olmsted’s Council Chambers from January 14-17, 2019 to meet with a RITA representative. Taxpayers can avoid an appearance by e-filing their returns at: www.ritaohio.com, mailing or faxing to RITA the documents listed on the administrative subpoena (also shown below).

While RITA makes every effort to properly staff the program based upon the number of subpoenas issued, wait times may occur throughout the day. Taxpayers who elect not to wait may leave the required tax documents with RITA staff and will be considered in compliance with the subpoena.
