City of North Olmsted and Great Northern Mall Team-Up for Santa’s Grand Arrival and Fireworks

North Olmsted Mayor Nicole Dailey Jones and Great Northern Mall announced the two organizations and MOEN are teaming up to hold the rained out North Olmsted Boom! event as part of Santa’s Grand Arrival at Great Northern Mall from 5:30-7 p.m. on Friday, November 17, 2023.

“In working with our partners for the firework show to determine the best date after North Olmsted Boom! was rained out, we identified this annual fun event at the Mall to be a part of,” said Mayor Jones. “This opportunity to have our firework show as part of an existing family-friendly event was a no-brainer. Santa will be able to arrive in North Olmsted slightly differently this year. I am happy that this date works for all of our partners including Great Northern Mall, MOEN, and Mad Bomber Fireworks.”

The holiday season will officially begin at Great Northern Mall with Santa’s Grand Arrival. The event, also sponsored by Northeast Ohio Parent Magazine, will begin indoors at 5:30 p.m. with games and other fun activities. At approximately 6:30 p.m., everyone will gather outside for Santa’s Grand Arrival, complete with a firework show. Once the firework show is over, everyone can head inside to get their photo taken with Santa and enjoy other planned activities until 7 p.m.
