Press Release – Clague Road Rehab

CUY-Clague Road (CR 52)

  • The City of North Olmsted, working in cooperation with the Cuyahoga County Department of Public Works (CCDPW), will be rehabilitating Clague Road from Marion Road to Lorain Road. The project will include the resurfacing of the roadway surface, pavement base repairs, curb, sidewalk and drive apron repairs, as needed, and curb ramp replacements as needed to meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. The road will be widened to construct a northbound left turn lane at Maple Ridge Road. A Pedestrian Hybrid Beacon and high visibility crosswalk will be installed at Little Clague Park.
  • The project will be constructed using part-width construction maintaining southbound traffic and detouring northbound traffic. Northbound traffic will be detoured using Lorain Road, Walter Road and Westwood Avenue.
