The North Olmsted Police Department requests your help in deterring and fighting crime. Residents and business owners with exterior surveillance (including doorbell cameras) are invited to voluntarily register the exterior cameras.
We know that North Olmsted is a great place to live and work, and we are constantly striving to improve safety services in our community. By registering your security cameras, you will be providing information that may prove valuable in a police investigation.
Registering your camera does not provide us direct access to your surveillance system. Information collected would allow investigators to know locations of cameras so that, if a crime occurs in that area, police can directly contact the community member for assistance.
The goal of this program is to deter crime and promote public safety through collaboration. All registrants agree to the following:
