  • The School Resource Officer strives to create and maintain a safe environment for the students and staff of the North Olmsted City Schools
  • The School Resource Officer works closely with parents, teachers, principals, staff and students to provide criminal justice, legal information, and education.
  • The School Resource Officer serves as a liaison between the community and city officials to ensure students and staff obtain necessary or supportive services.
  • The School Resource Officer serves to maintain and create a positive image toward law enforcement, police officers, and the North Olmsted Police Department through professionalism, integrity, and commitment.

Officer Carbone has been a dedicated School Resource Officer for North Olmsted City Schools for over 13 years and a member of the North Olmsted Police Department since 1998. Officer Carbone interacts daily with students by being involved in student activities such as Safety Town, Key Club, Student Council, SITES, Difference Makers, PROM Safety Day, Day of Giving, and the North Olmsted Football Homecoming Tailgate Party.

 

Officer Camp has been a School Resource Officer with North Olmsted City Schools since October 14, 2019. Previous employment was with the Lorain County Drug Task Force, Lorain County Sheriff’s Office, the City of Elyria Fire Department, the Lorain Police Department and as a soldier in the U.S. Army.
