Tree Huggers 101 Workshop

The Cuyahoga Soil & Water Conservation District is hosting Tree Huggers 101: Reaching New Heights with Better Tree Planting and Care on May 22nd at 5:30 PM at Olmsted Township Hall located at 26900 Cook Road.

According to CSWCD, proper planting and care are essential for young trees to survive and thrive. At this workshop, participants will learn the basics of tree planting and care, including a hands-on tree planting demonstration. An overview of county-wide tree canopy restoration efforts will also be presented.

The $10 registration fee includes one 1.3 Qt. native tree and take-home instructions. Trees are available for a variety of soil and sun/shade conditions.
