The fitness center offers a wide variety of cardio machines, strength equipment and free weights. Our equipment is state of the art, user friendly and great for beginners. Fitness attendants are on duty to ensure smooth operation of the equipment and answer your questions. The fitness center is for members and guests 12 years of age and older.

A ballet infused exercise that incorporates pilates, yoga and dance to give your arms, core, glutes, legs and shoulders the definition of a dancer. Tone, lengthen and sculpt your entire body and improve your balance, all while having fun working out.

Experience balance and harmony through a slow and mindful practice designed to release tension, reduce stress and promote relaxation. Be prepared to enjoy an energizing and refreshing yoga experience.

A 45-minute total body strength training class that uses handheld weights, elastic resistance and body weight to sculpt, tone and build muscle! This quick and effective workout is great for all fitness levels.

A class based on interval training. Participants warm up with cardio and dynamic stretching, then move on to complete 6 interval sets. Each set starts out with a cardio exercise, then concludes with a total body strength exercise.

Have fun and get fit at the same time, no dance experience needed! Cardio Dance is an energetic aerobic workout set to some of today’s most popular music! This class fuses elements of hip-hop and traditional cardio fitness to create a one hour dance party that is suitable for all fitness levels. No equipment is required for this class.

Rock-it!! A jam session inspired by the energizing and infectious intensity of playing drums! A fusion of cardio and strength.

Get ripped! Carlie’s already-proven circuit training uses both body weight and various equipment at different stations for a complete-body workout.

Indoor group exercise performed on stationary bikes. Class includes the simulation of hill-climbing, sprints and races. You will be kept motivated by the instructor, the people around you and the music! A fantastic cardiovascular workout. Water and a towel are a must.

Is a fast-paced, non-stop dance workout set to today’s popular music!  Combines traditional fitness and heart-pumping dance moves to create a fun and effective workout!  No dance experience required.

This is an up-tempo, core-intensive full body strength and conditioning workout. This class will utilize tools such as medicine balls, BOSU balls, free weights, as well as body weight exercises.

Group-focused athletic training, cardio conditioning and total-body strength drills, designed for people of all levels. The moves are easy to follow but the workout will challenge you, change you and get you in the best shape of your life.

Pilates improves flexibility, builds strength and develops control and endurance in the entire body. It puts emphasis on alignment, breathing, developing a strong core, and improving coordination and balance. Pilates’ system allows for different exercises to be modified in range of difficulty from beginner to advanced.

Rockout! A jam session inspired by the energizing, infectious, sweat dripping fun of playing drums! A fusion of cardio and strength.

Raise your heart rate and have fun at the same time! Cardio Gold is 40 minutes of great music and easy-to-follow, dance-based movements! This class is perfect for seniors or anyone looking for a low-impact aerobic workout!

This is not a SilverSneakers class, but all seniors and veterans of any age are encouraged to attend! This 45-minute class starts with a quick warm-up, stretching and then movement. Specifically designed to work out those kinks.

Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with low-impact aerobics choreography. Chair offered for support.

Move to music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

This class will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxations will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Builds strength and enhances balance. Offers specific exercises to increase power at the ankle, knee and hip joints while improving reaction time and fall prevention.

Personal Training

Personal training sessions are the most popular service we provide at Prescription Fitness. This individual attention is the most effective way to reach your goals. A personal training session includes a health screening, exercise history and goal setting. We will do a body composition analysis, record your weight and take your measurements on a monthly basis. You will also receive phone support throughout the week. This is all included in your 60 minute personal training session fee.
