The fitness center offers a wide variety of cardio machines, strength equipment and free weights. Our equipment is state of the art, user friendly and great for beginners. Fitness attendants are on duty to ensure smooth operation of the equipment and answer your questions. The fitness center is for members and guests 12 years of age and older.

Monday – Thursday: 5:30 AM – 9:00 PM

Friday: 5:30 AM – 8:00 PM

Saturday and Sunday: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Our facility will be closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.

Travel light and come ready to go! Locker rooms are open but showers remain closed.

Once you are here.

  • A temperature check is required for all patrons coming into the facility.
  • Signage will indicate which pieces of equipment are available for use. Some equipment will not be available to allow for physical distancing.
  • Members will be asked to wipe down equipment before and after your workout, using the cleaning materials provided.
  • The water bottle fill station will be available, however, the drinking fountain will be closed.

Coming to the facility.

  • Please arrive no more than 10 minutes prior to your class.
  • A temperature check is required for all patrons coming into the facility.
  • We will provide all needed equipment for classes with the exception of yoga.
  • For yoga classes, we will not provide mats, blankets, blocks or straps. Also, instructors will not be performing hand-on-assists during class.
  • Patrons will be asked to wipe down any equipment before and after your class, using the cleaning materials provided.

Experience balance and harmony through a slow and mindful practice designed to release tension, reduce stress and promote relaxation. Be prepared to enjoy an energizing and refreshing yoga experience.

A 45-minute total body strength training class that uses handheld weights, elastic resistance and body weight to sculpt, tone and build muscle! This quick and effective workout is great for all fitness levels.

A class based on interval training. Participants warm up with cardio and dynamic stretching, then move on to complete 6 interval sets. Each set starts out with a cardio exercise, then concludes with a total body strength exercise.

Have fun and get fit at the same time, no dance experience needed! Cardio Dance is an energetic aerobic workout set to some of today’s most popular music! This class fuses elements of hip-hop and traditional cardio fitness to create a one hour dance party that is suitable for all fitness levels. No equipment is required for this class.

Rock-it!! A jam session inspired by the energizing and infectious intensity of playing drums! A fusion of cardio and strength.

Get ripped! Carlie’s already-proven circuit training uses both body weight and various equipment at different stations for a complete-body workout.

Indoor group exercise performed on stationary bikes. Class includes the simulation of hill-climbing, sprints and races. You will be kept motivated by the instructor, the people around you and the music! A fantastic cardiovascular workout. Water and a towel are a must.

This is an up-tempo, core-intensive full body strength and conditioning workout. This class will utilize tools such as medicine balls, BOSU balls, free weights, as well as body weight exercises.

Combination of strength training using dumbbells, medicine balls, bands and cycle-cardio, 30 minutes each! Come get a full body workout in just an hour and have fun doing it!

End your day with slow flow vinyasa. The class begins by warming up with gentle stretches followed by connecting breath to match movements into different yoga poses in a flowing style, Modifications are given.

Take your workout to the next level with Step It Up!  This 45-minute class uses step platforms to challenge coordination and increase intensity during cardio and strength training.  80% cardio/20% strength.

A high-intensity interval training for a total-body workout using body weight and dumbbells.  All fitness levels.

Combines the world’s two oldest mind body disciplines to create a unique, effective movement experience. Class focuses on enhancing stability and mobility to increase overall wellness both on and off the mat. All levels.

Are you ready to party yourself into shape? It’s an exhilarating, effective, easy-to-follow, Latin-inspired, calorie burning dance fitness party that’s moving millions of people around the world toward joy and health. Zumba Fitness incorporates Latin and an international rhythm to create a challenging workout that is like a fitness party!

This is not a SilverSneakers class, but all seniors and veterans of any age are encouraged to attend! This 45-minute class starts with a quick warm-up, stretching and then movement. Specifically designed to work out those kinks.

Combine fun with fitness to increase your cardiovascular and muscular endurance power with a standing circuit workout. Upper-body strength work with hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball is alternated with low-impact aerobics choreography. Chair offered for support.

Move to music through a variety of exercises designed to increase muscular strength, range of movement and activities for daily living. Hand-held weights, elastic tubing with handles and a SilverSneakers ball are offered for resistance. A chair is available if needed for seated or standing support.

This class will move your whole body through a complete series of seated and standing yoga poses designed to increase flexibility, balance and range of movement. Restorative breathing exercises and final relaxations will promote stress reduction and mental clarity.

Personal Training

Personal training sessions are the most popular service we provide at Prescription Fitness. This individual attention is the most effective way to reach your goals. A personal training session includes a health screening, exercise history and goal setting. We will do a body composition analysis, record your weight and take your measurements on a monthly basis. You will also receive phone support throughout the week. This is all included in your 60 minute personal training session fee. Learn more>
