Summer camp will take place at two locations this summer, North Olmsted Recreation Center and one of North Olmsted City Schools. Stay tuned for location updates as we get closer to the start of summer camp.
Camp Counselors begin their summer, a week prior to camp, where they participate in several trainings. This helps with new camp counselors to understand our summer camp and acts as a “refresher” course for return camp counselor staff. Also, during this week, camp counselors get trained in CPR and First Aid. All of our camp counselor are presuming jobs in the childhood education field of study.
Our camper to camp counselor ratio is 10:1.
Trips or on-site activities will be included with your 2019 camp fees. Check out website for details on field trips and on-site activities, as we get closer to the start of summer camp.
