The mission of the North Olmsted Senior Center is to stimulate the intellectual, physical and social well being of participants by providing supportive and innovative service that help maintain the independence and dignity of those 55 years and older.
The North Olmsted Senior Center is located at 28114 Lorain Road in North Olmsted Community Park. The building was dedicated on June 6, 1980. The Senior Center welcomes everyone 55 years of age or older from all communities.
October 15, 2020 Update: Governor Mike DeWine announced that Cuyahoga County has returned to a Level 3 (red) Public Emergency. The Senior Center building will be closed and indoor activities and appointments cancelled until further notice. We apologize for the inconvenience.
The Senior Center reopened on Monday, September 28 for limited indoor activities. Staff is following all guidance from the Ohio Department of Health to ensure the safety of our members and visitors.
Developments related to the COVID-19 pandemic may impact the status of building operations. Staff will use the Ohio Public Health Advisory System to determine if and when conducting in person activities is safe. When Cuyahoga County is at a Level 1 (yellow) or Level 2 (orange) Public Emergency, the building will remain open at reduced capacity for limited activities at the posted hours. Should Cuyahoga County increase to a Level 3 (red) or Level 4 (purple) Public Emergency, the building will close for all in person activities.
